Inclement Weather Dismissal Procedures
Make prior arrangements with their child for rainy day transportation.When your child comes to school, they should know what to do when school has rainy day dismissal. Please make it clear to your child if you intend to pick him/her up in case of severe weather. A form is sent home at the beginning of the year or upon enrollment for parents to provide instructions for rainy day dismissal. If you plan to vary from the procedure established on the form please send a note to the teacher otherwise we will adhere to the initial directions you provided on the form at the beginning of the school year. |

On days when there is lightning and/or it is raining heavily at the end of the school day, the schools will hold all bike riders and walkers up to one-half hour, or until the storm ceases.
