School Improvement

The Elliott Elementary School Improvement Team consists of:

  • teachers
  • administrators
  • parents.

The team writes a yearly School Improvement Plan (SIP) to address the goals and outcomes of our Community Strategic Plan and continuously reviews and recommends activities necessary for school improvement.

To nurture, prepare and inspire all children to learn, achieve and grow.

Accreditation Team Visit

The Elliott Elementary staff and parents working very hard to provide an outstanding program for our students. This work will be more than evident when the accreditation team from AdvancED visits our school in February. The team will:

  • Visit all classrooms.
  • Hold focus groups with parents, students, and teachers.
  • Review our School Improvement Plan.

The AdvancED team determines if we meet the standards that they set forth by observations and by reviewing written documentation. Based on their findings, the team will make recommendations as to how we can improve our school. The staff will use those suggestions to examine our goals, strategies and instructional program.
