First grade is an exciting
year. The children read everything: basals, journals,
trade books, literature, both fiction and non fiction. Our reading
includes all of our subject areas: math, science, social studies
and language arts. Writing, an integral part of reading instruction,
is stressed throughout.
Attendance
Please call the school
office to notify us when your child is going to be absent. Upon
his/her return, please send a note .
