This might seem weird but we like to do our homework!
We know the more we practice doing something the better we get.
We get lots of practice in third grade. Here's the regular stuff we do.
Reading:
We start at the beginning of the year reading 15 minutes each night out loud with our parents. We read more as the year goes on. We begin by writing 3 sentences about what we've read. We write more as the year goes on! Parents sign off each night in our reading log.
Math:
We sometimes have extra worksheets. We have to practice our math facts at least 10 minutes each night.
Handwriting:
We do 2 pages a night in our handwriting book at some part of the year.
Other:
Sometimes we have to finish our classwork too. We keep all our homework in our homework assignment folder.
We learn to be responsible in third grade!
