Volunteers

Row of books

Volunteers are an important part of our library media program.  Both students and parents offer their time to keep things running smoothly.  During the first two weeks of school, students may pick up an application for the Student Media Helper Program in the media center.  New students are also invited to join throughout the year.  It is a great way to make friends and make a difference!

Parent Volunteers

Since there is no instructional aide in the media center, the media specialist is most appreciative of parent volunteers that help fill this need.  There is always a need for parents to help catalog new materials, assist children when classes visit the media center, shelve books, make photocopies, and other duties too numerous to mention!  Many parents give up one morning or afternoon each week.  They really make a difference!

Contact the information specialist if you want to volunteer.
