School Closure due to Pandemic Influenza

• Parents should receive information about school closure through the One Call emergency contact system. Please ensure that the correct telephone number is listed for parents. In addition, the emergency contact numbers need to be up to date. Please give this information to the Registrar so that it can be entered into the School Management System data base.
• In the event of school closure due to H1N1, information will be posted here about assignments and other important information for parents and students.
• WPES has BrainPop Jr. and BrainPop accounts for home and school use. The logins and passwords were sent to all families in the Bulldog Blast. Brain Pop has a wealth of instructional videos, quizzes, and extension of learning activities.
• Fourth Grade students may receive messages via the student email program (Gaggle) with specific information about assignments. If third grade students have started using the Gaggle accounts, information will be sent to them on those accounts. Gaggle link
• Additional information about work at home assignments may be sent to parents through email.
