Welcome to the webpage for the The Magic Book!

The Magic Book is maintained by the Reading Improvement Specialist at West Point Elementary School.

The mission of The Magic Book is to support children at WPES as they seek good books to read. Sometimes it is the title that makes the reader want to read a book. Then again, it may be the author; perhaps the reader is familiar with the author from reading a previous book. Or, it may be the illustrator; a reader may enjoy the illustrations or pictures drawn by a certain artist and wish to read another book with pictures by that certain illustrator. Here is a list of best selling Children's Books recommended by the New York Times.
