May was chosen to commemorate the immigration of the first Japanese to the United States on May 7, 1843, and to mark the anniversary of the completion of the transcontinental railroad on May 10, 1869. The majority of the workers who laid the tracks were Chinese immigrants.

Robins B.L.A.S.T. Awards

Parents, Students, and Teachers celebrated hard work, support, and effort on behalf of students who received special awards during the B. L .A. S. T Assembly. This ceremony marked the 3rd- Nine Weeks of the school year.

Honor Roll, Honorable Mention, Perfect Attendance and BLAST awards (Building Long Lasting Attitudes in Students Today) were well deserved of each student.
