The Department has initiated a study, CONUS Education Options Assessment (CEOA) by the National Defense Research Institute (RAND). The objective of the study is to recommend options that most effectively balance cost, quality and implementation considerations.

Goal 1

Goal 1: By June 2014, all students will improve their reading comprehension, construct meaning from text across the curriculum as measured by the selected system-wide assessments (TerraNova, Third Edition, Reading Subtest, Grades 3-4) and by local assessments (Pearson Reading Series from grades PreK-4).

Intervention: "Retelling" strategy

Goal 2: By June 2014, all students will build mathematical knowledge through problem solving as measured by the selected system-wide assessments (TerraNova, Third Edition, Math Subtest, Grade 3-4, MacMillian unit tests) and local math assessments administered yearly.

Intervention: Use of "Number Talks"

SCHOOL ATTENDANCE is important and in order to receive the best education, students need to BE HERE!

SPC Vega Gate will Operate on a Limited Schedule

The new hours of operation will be:
Monday- Friday
0530 - 1730: Inbound and Outbound

Saturdays, Sundays and Federal Holidays: Closed

902-PX / COMMISSARY GATE OPERATING HOURS 24/7: Will remain open 24 hours, 7 days a week for both Inbound and Outbound traffic. Everyone should plan accordingly for high traffic movement during early morning rush hours, standard lunch hours, Military Drill Assemblies, and End of Month Payday.
