School Rules and RegulationsTransportation Policies & ProceduresTransportation Disciplinary MeasuresSafety demands that students on buses be strictly disciplined at all times. Riding the school bus is a service provided by the school system. It is a privilege. The bus driver is to be obeyed. If a student does not comply with the rules as outlined in the transportation handbook, the following steps will be taken:
If the first offense is a major infraction of bus conduct, the student could be taken off the bus without following the above steps. One instance of misconduct can cause a student to lose bus-riding privileges. The bus driver will fill out a bus referral form and forward it to the school as soon as possible, or may escort the student to the Principal or his/her designee. Disciplinary action will be administered once the incident is investigated in the presence of the student and/or bus driver. |
