Principal's Welcome 
Dr. Matthew Kralevich is our new principal at Herbert J. Dexter School. Dr. Kralevich comes to us from Alice, Texas where he was principal of Memorial Intermediate School. Prior to serving at Memorial, Dr. Kralevich was assistant principal at William Adams Middle School in Alice. Dr. Kralevich taught geography, U. S. history, government, and contemporary issues to 9th-12th grade students at the Alamo Achievement Center in San Antonio, serving as master lead teacher and social studies department chairperson while at Alamo.
Dr. Kralevich’s performance as an exceptional instructional leader is evidenced by significantly improved student achievement during his tenure as principal at Memorial. Dr. Kralevich has a B.S. in Secondary Education from Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock, PA; a Masters in Educational Administration from Texas A & M at Kingsville, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Texas A & M at Kingsville. He presented at the Southwest Education Research Association Annual Conference in New Orleans in 2008.
