Clubs and ActivitiesDexter offers a wide variety of extra-curricular activities both before and after school hours. Morning PE: Children can meet on the track during mild weather and in the multi-purpose room during inclement weather for physical activities. Any child can show up on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:10-8:30 for Morning PE. Speed Stacking: Speed Stackers meet in the multi-purpose room on Thursdays from 3:15-3:30. Speed Stackers compete in various intra-mural, state, and even world competitions. Spanish Club : Spanish Clubs are available for children in grades Pre-K through 3 and children in grades 4-5. The primary group meets from 3:15-4:00 on Wednesday. The elementary group meets from 3:15-4:00 on Mondays. Children learn about Latin cultures as well as the Spanish language. Year Book: The Dexter Year Book is produced entirely by 4th and 5th grade students at Dexter. This group meets from 3:15-4:00 on Wednesdays. Battle of the Books: The Battle of the Books club meets from 3:15-4:00 on Mondays. Participants are required to read the books that will be used in the Ft. Benning Battle of the Books competion Technology Club: The Dexter Technology Club gives children the opportunity to experiment with computers, software, and other types of media equipment. The Technology Club meets from 3:15 to 4:00 on Mondays. Here are some technology projects:
