Vision: Inspiring students to become successful and responsible citizens in a global society

Mission: Learn! Achieve! Succeed!

Goal 1: All students will improve expository writing skills across the curriculum. Essence: Students will use expository writing to construct responses to open ended questions that require the use of higher level thinking skills as well as content knowledge.
Goal 2: Students will improve their ability to evaluate the meaning of and analyze expository/informational text across the curriculum. Essence: At Faith Middle School Evaluating Meaning is reading to make connections between texts based on common themes and concepts; evaluate author purpose and effectiveness; and extend meaning to other contexts. At Faith Middle School Analyzing expository /informational text means reading with an understanding of the text that goes beyond surface meaning.
