Dealing with deployment is hard.  It’s hard on soldiers, it’s hard on spouses, and it’s especially hard on children.  Suddenly, everything in their world is turned around – Mom or Dad is away from home, there is fear of the unknown, and television news may be a bit too close to home for comfort.

We understand the additional stress placed on families when a soldier is deployed.  We want to help you help your children.  What to tell children about a soldier leaving depends on the age of the children, and your personal knowledge of how your children react in difficult times; but this web site, we hope, will help.
