Reminders: Parents please read with you child each night for 15 minutes. Please sign the reading log when your child has mastered the book. Once your child has mastered 10 books they will receive a treat and certificate from me.

Our class is working on listening skills. We are also working on following school and classroom rules.
 Homework:
Each night students should have spelling, math, and reading (Bag of Books) homework. If you do not see this inside their folders please contact me.

Second Nine Weeks Spelling List
 Language Arts
We are currently learning about types of sentences, capitalization, and ending punctuation.
 Math
Students are learning addition and subtraction. We are reviewing tens and ones daily.
 Science
Students are learning about living things. In this unit we will learn about kinds of animals, what animals need to live and grow, how they move, and how they protect themselves. We will conclude with learning about the different habitats.
