Reminders
Welcome back!
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday break. We are ready to begin a new year, filled with learning and growth in all academic areas. Please continue to put forth your best effort and aim high in reaching new goals!
Reminders: We are collecting Campbell labels and Box Tops, so please collect and send them in to benefit our school.
Students have made wonderful progress in SRI test reading scores. A copy of your child's progress to date will be sent home with the report card. Remember that reading each day is the best way to become a true learner. Reading logs will be collected on Fridays, and each student should have one completed. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at school.
Look what we are learning. . .
In Reading, my classes will read a Literacy Place story, Sarah, Plain and Tall. We will review story retellin, study vocabulary, and describe story characters. We will review language and listening skills.
Beginning next week, all classes will begin a novel study.

Tues.: Reread story (pgs.30-47)
Wed.: Complete WS#13
Thurs.:Review story and vocabulary for quiz on Friday.
Spelling: Spell words from teacer-made list
Tues.: Write each 3X
Wed.: Write a sentence with each.
Thurs.: Study for Friday test
