Welcome Fall

We will continue with our “Letter of the Week” this month of November.

Please assist your child in practice with writing their name and our letter of the week on primary lined paper.  The more we practice, the better we’ll be!

We are learning “Shapes” in math.  We learn about one shape each week.  We are also practicing counting, ordinal numbers, patterns, and problem-solving.

In Social Studies we will be learning family customs and traditions in honor of our upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday.

In Science we are learning about the Four Seasons, how to dress for each one, living/nonliving things, and resources.

Students need to wear socks and tennis shoes every day.  Please keep a complete change of clothes in their book bag.  (Please keep toys and candy at home.)

If you need to make a change in the way your child goes home, please write a note or call the school (706-544-2312)

Also, avoid sending in any snacks that contain peanuts, peanut oil, or peanut butter due to students with peanut allergies.

Reminder: return library books before Friday of each week.  Parents ask your child higher-level thinking questions (why, how, what do you think will happen next) as you read your library books together.  Follow us and help us practice as we are learning our Pre-K standards!
