Student Services 
CHILD FIND actively seeks to identify children with learning, emotional, physical or developmental disabilities. The Case Study Committee (CSC) processes the referral, identification and placement of students for these services. Members of the committee include the child’s teacher and other specialists as needed; school counselor, psychologist and other special education staff. Parents are included in eligibility and placement meetings.
*A gifted education program is provided for those students meeting the criteria for the program.
*Instructional support services will be provided for students identified as requiring intervention/remediation in the area of reading.
*The guidance counselor provides such services as individual counseling, classroom guidance activities, and individual assessments for referrals. The counselor also serves as a resource person for parents, staff and students. In addition, students have access to the mental health and social services staffs at Martin Army Community Hospital.
