There have been changes to the immunizations policy that will affect Pre-K and Kdg. students next year. Please visit the Nurses page to find out more.

A new school attendance policy is in place effective September 1, 2011. It is important that students attend school every day, follow the link provided for the details of the new policy. http://www.dodea.edu/attendance/index.cfm

Please help us  gauge the levels of awareness, effectiveness and satisfaction with the  DoDEA attendance policy introduced at the beginning of the school year by completing our online poll.  It is completely voluntary, anonymous and should only take 5 minutes to complete. Open to all DDESS stakeholders: students, parents, employees, military leaders, etc.

DoDEA welcomes feedback on our progress thus far in drafting the 2012-2016 CSP from DoDEA employees, parents, students, and the Department of Defense (DoD) community (educators in military-connected school districts, the military community, etc.).  Your input will be used to make final revisions to the CSP and to ensure it reflects the knowledge and beliefs of the worldwide DoDEA community.

Essence: The essence of the reading goal is to increase text comprehension through explicit fluency instruction to improve speed, accuracy, and expression.
