BUTNER ELEMENTARY Butner Elementary School recently hosted its annual Beary Special Field Day. Butner PTA, parents, community agencies, military units and individuals contributed to a fantastic day of learning and fun.

While one group of students enjoyed field day activities, others visited a local beekeeper’s exhibit, the Ft. Bragg Fire Department Smokehouse and Mr. Stuffee from Fascinate-U. Therapy dogs, Lumbee dancers, military exhibits and “The Snake Guy” generated lots of enthusiasm, too! The whole community treated the Butner Bears to a fabulous experience that they will never forget!
