HOMEWORK

Homework is a vital part of the students learning process. Homework is assigned every night except for Friday. Please make sure that your child is completing his or her homework. Homework is part of your child's grade. Check your child's folder daily for important information that maybe sent home.
Shining Shamrock

Daily reading is an important part of a child's reading development.
Your child has a Home Reading Folder. Inside his or her folder you will
find a leveled book and a reading calendar. Your child should be reading
for 15 minutes every night. Once your child has completed the nightly reading
requirements fill out the reading calendar in the reading folder. At the
end of the month return your child's calendar with your signature on it.
If you child has read the required amount he/she will receive a reward
from the PTO. We are striving for 100% participation in the Canine Class!
Box Tops
Please save your Box Tops and bring them to school. Please mark your
child's name and my name on the paper or envelope.
Deployments
If you or your spouse is getting ready to deploy please let me know. Sometimes a child's behavior can change during this time and a little understanding is all that is needed.
We would like to say a special hello to all of our deployed parents.
Thanks for all that you are doing! Stay safe and come home soon!
