Special features – Homework center staff with a NC certified Secondary Education teacher (free evening and weekend tutoring by appointment), Computer lab staffed with a Computer technology assistant and has internet connection that is monitored through Cyber Sitter
Hours of operation – Labs open at 1500 -1800 daily Mon – Fri during the School Year. Open some evenings and weekends. Call Tolson Youth Center for coordinating scheduled late openings and weekends. Homework center open in the summer by tutoring appointments.

The WWK Homework Center provides homework help and support in all academic areas as well as special emphasis in the areas of Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
Special features: Incentive program designed to extrinsically and intrinsically motivate participants to complete their homework assignments as well as participate in activities designed to enhance their language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies skills. Yet another feature is immediate access to computers for research or other computer related homework assignments.
Hours of operation: after school: 3:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Also operates during winter, spring and summer breaks between the hours of 9:45 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.
ages/grades served: 2nd through 4th
