The instructional program is based on an integrated curriulum model with skills taught in context.  Students' individual needs are addressed by providing hands-on, real life relevant activities.

The reading program is literature based and includes elements of phonics and whole language approaches.  The math and science programs also stress hands-on learning and application of skills.  All students in K-4th grade receive instruction in art, music, physical education, media and guidance from specialists in these areas.

Students use the Multimedia Lab to use word processing software and to develop group multimedia projects.  Students maintain some electronic portfolio entries on disks.  Clusters of computers are located in Prek-4th grade classrooms to enhance the instructional program.
 

When appropriate, students are referred to specialists for evaluation to determine if support services are needed.  Support services include:
