McNair's multimedia lab is used by K-4th classroom teachers and their students.  The lab is networked for printing and the Internet is available on all twenty five computers. The Internet is used by our students to gather information and conduct research.

Software is available to develop multimedia projects, create graphic images, make spreadsheets and develop reading and math skills.

Teachers focus on teaching students the technology standards integrated into the curriculum.  Parents assist classes in the lab as they work. The multimedia lab is used by the staff after school and for staff development activities.

Pictured: the school's butterfly garden

McNair's Butterfly Garden was built by parents, students, staff members, and our military partners.  Students researched what plants grew well in North Carolina and attracted butterflies.

The plants in the garden were all donated or purchased with donated funds.  The garden is maintained by the students, parents, and staff.
