Criterion E

Special Education services for children ages 3-5 are provided through the Preschool Disabled Program which is a component of Fort Bragg Schools' Early Childhood Program. Services are provided to eligible children through a full continuum of placement options:

  • Prekindergarten Classroom
  • Preschool Disabled Self-contained Classrooms
  • Combination of Prekindergarten Classroom and Preschool Disabled Self-contained Classroom

TO ACCESS SERVICES

     *If your child is enrolled in prekindergarten at the school in your district, contact your child's teacher to discuss your concerns and initiate pre-referral activities.

     *If your child's 4th birthday is after 16 October, bring:

          Proof of housing
          Your child' social security number
          Copies of any previous assessments

       to the Fort Bragg Schools' Pupil Personnel Services Office.

    *If your child is receiving services through Educational Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS) at Womack Army Hospital, contact EDIS regarding transition to Fort Bragg Schools.

    *The Pupil Personnel Services Office is located in the Fort Bragg Schools' Administrative Office at the north end of Irwin Middle School on Knox Street.
