Picture of parent with question marks above head

TEST YOURSELF

Do you pressure your child to improve his/her grades beyond his/her capabilities?

Do you compare him/her to your neighbor’s child?

Do you point out his/her major weaknesses to him/her constantly?

Do you infer “Do as I say, not as I do?”

Do you constantly remind him/her of the many sacrifices that you are making for him/her?

Do you belittle him/her before his/her friends?

Do you insist that he/he participate in activities in which he/she has absolutely no interest?

Do you yell at him/her whenever he/she makes a mistake?

Do you fail to reward (by words or deeds) his/her accomplishments no matter how small they are?

Do you attempt to mold him/her into YOUR IDEAL YOU ?
