Good Discipline Has Key Elements

Remember, good discipline is:

Good discipline does not:

·         Leave unfinished business or loose ends

·         Change the rules in the middle of the game

·         Indulge in hollow threats and idle warnings

·         Have to be severe

·         Require heroic efforts to be effective

·         Humiliate

·         Hurt relationships

·         Leave parent and/or child feeling bad about themselves
