STUDENT ACTIVITIESThe instructional program is based on an integrated curriculum model with skills taught in context. Individual students' needs are addressed by providing hands-on experiences which are relevant to real life. Students in grades K-4 receive instruction from specialists in art, media, music, and physical education. Clusters of computers are located in each classroom to facilitate integrated instruction. A multimedia lab featuring a variety of programs also enhances the classroom instruction. When necessary, students are referred to specialists for evaluation and appropriate services. A multidisciplinary team identifies students and meets their unique needs with the support of the following services:
