We love teaching third grade, here at Devers Elementary!  We like to consider ourselves a unique society, since we have the privilege of educating some of America’s finest; children of US Army soldiers here at Ft. Bragg.  Combined, we have over forty years of teaching experience and some of us even served in the US Army!  Parents of our students are certainly proud to have their children attend our school. 

    Our curriculum is integrated across the subjects and we use a standards based model of instruction, following the DoDEA outline.  We plan our units as a team and truly embrace our grade level as family!  We feel, altogether our heads make for a better program for our students.  We perform cooperative learning throughout our lessons and embrace the use of manipulatives. 

Parent volunteers are always welcome in our classrooms.  We have various ways you can help from assisting in the classroom, cutting/prep work, and some activities you can do from home!  Please see your child’s teacher for sign-up and more information.
