Principal's Welcome

Welcome to Irwin Intermediate School – Home of Mustang Pride

I'm Dr. Tim Howle and I have the honor of being the principal at Irwin. Our assistant principal is Ms. Tracy Sharp.
Mustang Pride is a way of life at Irwin. We are all very excited to begin the 2009-2010 school year. Ms. Sharp and I are committed to providing a nurturing and caring, yet academically stimulating learning environment in which the needs of all students are addressed.
As you visit our school, you will see many examples of Mustang Pride! Our Teachers demonstrate their pride by providing highly challenging and diversified classroom instruction. Counselors pride themselves on meeting the often intense emotional needs of children and their families within our military community. Our custodians take pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment, which greatly promotes the learning process. The school store, book fairs, and staff luncheons are just a few of the demonstrations of our PTO's pride. The cafeteria staff is very proud of the nutritious breakfasts and lunches provided to our almost 700 students. Most importantly, our students are very proud of their outstanding academic achievements and exemplary behavior.
