The National Standards for Mathematics and those developed by the National Center on Education and the Economy are the foundation for development of DoDEA Performance Standards that help students become mathematically literate, understand and apply mathematical skills and concepts to everyday living, and develop critical skills of problem solving, communication, and reasoning.
