Notes from the School Nurse

 

The deadline for Pre-kindergarten and Kindergarten Physicals is November 10, 2006. If the clinic cannot see your child before this date- do not panic! Just notify the school nurse of the scheduled appointment date. Please note all physicals should include a vision and hearing screening.  

Immunizations including the newly required Hepatitis A are also due by November 10, 2006. If the clinic runs out of Hepatitis A again– do not panic! The clinic(s) calls or emails me and no student will be excluded if the vaccine is unavailable.  

If you receive or have received a notice that your child needs a physical or immunizations and you already turned this information in – please call the school nurse and she will double check her records (I am only human and I to may have overlooked the information when I was trying to quickly check 300 student records).
