They are learning about its culture and creating a travel brochure based on what they learned about their country. The entire project is being completed in class, not at home.

Science:
We will wrap up our unit on conservation. The children will also finish presenting their volcanoes.

Writing -DDLR tests will not be given for the remainder of the school year. All students’ writing should now reflect their knowledge of the skills they have learned through our Daily Language Review time each morning.

Cursive Writing - Yes, it’s time!. Time to learn cursive!! The children are VERY excited to start cursive handwriting. They’re doing a great job reading cursive and are ready to begin writing it themselves.  We’ll be using the Zaner-Bloser handwriting program and practicing a few letters every week.
