Social Studies - We will continue discussing the birth of our country (chapter 6). The children have learned how Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington and James Madison helped to shape our country’s government. They will have a test on Chapter 6 on Thursday.
Math-This week we will begin Geometry (chapters 23 & 24). We will discuss 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional figures. The children will also start multiplication this week. They will have a timed quiz on the 2s on Friday.

Reading -The children are working with a partner and completing an in-class book report project. They will also participate in guided reading centers.
Computer time - Every Tuesday, Mrs. K and Mrs. D, do lessons with the students in the computer lab. The children are learning how to create PowerPoint presentations.
