Science Habitats

We are proud to announce the Pope habitat has been reconstructed. We really think you and your students will enjoy the changes and the true beauty. We now have a pond, with small waterfall, which the over flow water flows into a bog garden. We have tadpoles, frogs, turtles, minnows, butterflies, dragonflies making it their home. The greenhouse is ready for use

We now have three small above ground garden plots ready for planting. I f you are interested in planting anything or want to get involved please let me know. We do want this to be a school-wide learning outdoor classroom. Please take a minute to review with your students the Community Agreement. Thanks in advance for your support in this agreement. If you have any other ideas to make this a better environment or you want to get involved please let us know.

 

Rules/A Community Agreement

  • Walk Slowly at all times.
  • Never Throw Anything .
  • Listen for sounds of nature.
  • Use only Soft voices.
  • Watch where you walk.
  • Sit only on the tree seat stumps.
  • Touch plants only with adult or leaders direction.
  • Do not Touch the water in the pond.
  • OBSERVE, LEARN, ENJOY!
