Dr. Emily Marsh

An important message to our community from Superintendent, Dr. Emily Marsh:

On 14 May, Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel announced that most Department of Defense civilian employees will be furloughed for up to 11 days between 8 July and 30 September 2013. Teachers and other school level 9 month employees will be subject to furlough of up to five days between the beginning of the 2013-14 school year and 30 September 2013. If school furlough days are directed, specific information will be shared with the Fort Bragg Community. Schools will be closed for students on any teacher furlough days.

Fort Bragg Schools will open for students on Monday, 26 August 2013. Any required furlough days will be taken after the start of the school year. Your continued support is appreciated during these times of budgetary uncertainty. The outstanding educators, administrators, and support staff of Fort Bragg Schools remain committed to providing our students a quality educational experience and supporting our military families. Okay, okay, okay, I’m pretty sure we’re ALL aware that the end of the school year is upon us. So you know what that means, right? YEARBOOK TIME! You can buy a yearbook when you drop your child off at the dance on May 10th, or you can purchase one anytime in Ms. M’s classroom, which is C203. And I bet you’re wondering why you should buy a yearbook. Well I’ll tell you why!! This year has been very eventful, like many dances, pep rallies, and sports games. So don’t you want your child to remember all of those things? Well, sure you do! So hop on the Yearbook bandwagon and buy a yearbook! What are you waiting for?
