The software and teaching aids used in the engineering, architecture and computer animation classes are not found on most home computers. It is important to be in attendance on a regular basis for instruction and completion of daily assignments. Absences can seriously impact a student's performance and grades.
PRINCIPLES OF ENGINEERING This course engages students in the applications of mechanical design using AutoCAD software. Content includes the fundamentals of design, designing mechanical elements, and 2-D drawing. It is recommended for those students aspiring to become designers, engineers, CAD technicians, interior designers, and architects.
ENGINEERING DRAWING/CAD This course engages students in the applications of mechanical design using Autodesk Inventor software. Content includes the fundamentals of design, designing mechanical elements, 2-D and 3-D drawing, and design presentation. It is recommended for those students aspiring to become designers, engineers, CAD technicians, interior designers, and architects.
ARCHITECTURAL DRAWING/CAD This course engages students in the applications of architectural design using Autodesk Revit software. Content includes the fundamentals of design, designing architectural elements, 2-D and 3-D drawing, and design presentation. It is recommended for those students aspiring to become designers, engineers, CAD technicians, interior designers, and architects.
COMPUTER ANIMATION This course engages students in the applications of three-dimensional design. Students will produce digital illustrations and animations using 3D Max and other supporting software. Content includes geometric design, computer modeling, animation and rendering processes. It is recommended that aspiring graphic designers, computer animators, electric game designers, CAD technicians, architects, and interior designers take this course.
