Class Requirements

Syllabus

1. One writing assignment each quarter (minimum) ----------------------------------------(100 points each)

2. One project each semester (minimum) -----------------------------------------------------(200 points each)

3. Chapter / unit tests ------------------------------------------------------------------------------(100 points each)

4. Class participation -------------------------------------------------------------------------------(2 points per day)

* This is a daily extra credit grade. In order to earn these points you must attend class, you must participate, and you must have all required class material.

5. Notebook checks --------------------------------------------------------------------------------(100 points each)

* Notebook checks may or may not be scheduled, you must always bring your notebook to class and always be prepared to have it checked. You can expect 2 notebook checks each quarter.

6. Spot quizzes --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------(20 points each)

* Not scheduled, so be sure to do all homework.

7. Homework --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------(400 points each quarter)

8. Semester exam --------------------------------------------------------------------------------(20% of semester grade)

Notebook Requirements (August 2007)

1. Must have a three ring binder with (5) section dividers.

2. Must have a Title Page:

------Title page may be on the cover of your notebook or on the first page in notebook.

------Title page must include the following information:
