Barkley Elementary is an exciting place to be! It is an active and vibrant learning environment where parents and the teaching staff can be seen on any given day working together for the good of our students.

As part of the Department of Defense Elementary and Secondary School system our curriculum is aligned with content and performance standards at all grade levels. The state of the art resources, technology, and cutting edge teaching strategies are integrated together to meet our school's mission: Educating each student to be all they can be, Hooah!

Parents and our military community play a vital role at Barkley. The Parent Teacher Organization provides essential volunteers, sponsors educational programs and organizes fund raisers to benefit school-wide programs. Our adopted military unit, the 5th Battalion of the 101st Aviation Brigade, post-wide agencies and, facilities partner with Barkley Elementary to provide opportunities for our students that extend beyond our school building. In addition; Barkley is sensitive to the mission of Fort Campbell soldiers and the unique needs of military families. Many of the staff members at Barkley have military backgrounds as well.

The FISH PHILOSOPHY! Is alive and well at Barkley. We believe that work that's fun gets done when we choose our attitude, make someone's day, and are fully present when with others. Come by, stop and visit, and we'll go "fishing" together!
