Student Council 09-10 Jeans Days

The following days have been designated at Jeans & t-shirt days. These days are subject to change or cancellation.

Please follow the guidelines for jeans that are posted in each classroom. You must wear the t-shirt designed and sold by Student Council this year to participate in the Jeans Days.

September 11 / September 25/ October 16 / October 30
November 13 / December 4 / December 17/ January 8
January 22 / February 5 / February 19 / March 5
March 19 / April 16 / April 30 / May 14

The t-shirt purchased from the Student Council this year is the only shirt that allows you to wear jeans or jean skirts. You cannot wear jeans or jean skirts on the specified days unless you wear this t-shirt. This t-shirt
can be worn on any school day with a collared, dress code approved shirt under it. On jeans and t-shirt days you will not be required to wear a collared shirt under this t-shirt.

Dress code pants and skirts or appropriate jeans and jean skirts are the only pant/skirt styles that will be allowed on jeans and t-shirts days. Jeans and jean skirts must follow the criteria stated below. If the jeans do not fit the following criteria and/or the student does not wear this t-shirt with jeans then the student will be in violation of the dress code. All other dress code rules will apply.

1. Jeans/skirts must fit the student properly (excessively tight- or loose-fitting jeans are not appropriate). No hip-hugger or low rise styles are acceptable.
2. Jeans/skirts must be worn with a belt and must have a waistband. No hip-hugger or low rise styles are acceptable.
3. The legs of the jeans may not be excessively flared or baggy.
4. Jeans should be in good condition (no holes, rips, frayed edges, or inappropriate wording or symbols).
5. Only solid colored jeans are to be worn. (Example: stonewashed or faded jeans are okay the jeans that look like they have been splattered with paint are NOT okay).
6. T-shirts must be tucked in.
