Jackson Curricular Initiatives.

Elementary Spanish - ¡Jackson habla español! Jackson Elementary was selected as a pilot school for the 2006 DODEA FLES (Foreign Language in the Elementary School) implementation. Currently all students in kinder through third grade receive ninety minutes of Spanish instruction per week. Spanish is now considered part of our core curriculum.

6+1 Writing Traits - This program provides an organized, logical method to teach students to write effectively.

George Polya's 4-Step Problem Solving Approach - This process is emphasized in the development of math reasoning skills.

Think Tank - A regular part of our enrichment program wherein higher-level thought processing is developed.
