Welcome to Jackson Elementary School !
We, the staff of Jackson Elementary, see ourselves as providing educational services to the finest military units in the U.S. Army. As such, it is only fitting that we pledge to continue to bring our students the very best of current educational thought and practice. We are committed to fulfilling our mission, “to foster maximal learning for each child” through a variety of resources, programs and teaching strategies. Jackson 's rich history of academic success can be attributed to our hard-working students, dedicated teachers and support staff and our supportive parents.
Over the past few years, our staff has discussed, at length, what we truly believe about children, successful schools and effective instruction. It has taken many conversations and much deliberation to come to consensus on the following “beliefs”. Our goal is to live these beliefs daily in such a way that you, the parent, will never doubt that we have anything less than your child's best interest at heart.
Finally, we pledge to provide this and much more within a warm, supportive and creative environment where children feel safe to venture and strive for excellence. We establish caring systems within the school. Kindness, respect for diversity, and social support become a reality as the entire school is centered around the JACKSON AGREEMENTS of: Attentive Listening, Appreciation/No Put-Downs, Mutual Respect and Personal Best.
Collectively, it is all our tasks to provide each student with the best possible education. We welcome parent input and encourage active participation. Come visit Jackson …where excellence is the standard and learning is celebrated!!
