Jackson STARS - Staff members recommend students to be a Jackson STAR based upon exemplary student behavior. The student meets with the Principal, and a phone call is made to the parents to share the good news. The student receives a star pen, and his/her name is placed on the STAR bulletin board in the main hallway of the school.

Reading TWI- We believe reading is the most important skill students acquire in the elementary school, and reading practice time is the best way to develop that skill. Our students have 45 to 60 minutes of reading practice time daily. (Reading To, Reading With, Reading Independently)

Power Hour - Students in need of additional assistance in Reading meet for an hour after school two days a week.

Jackson "Personal Best" Award - Teachers nominate students for this award based upon exemplary student effort in the academic area.
