Student Eligibility

Only children of families living on-post with an official letter or agreement contract from Fort Campbell Housing are eligible to attend school on post.

1.  To enter the four year old program, a child must be four on or before 1 October 2008.

2.  To enter the five year old program (Kindergarten), a child must be five years old on or before 1 October 2008.

3.  To enter first grade, a child must be six years old on or before 1 October 2008 and present evidence of successful completion of an accredited kindergarten program.

4.  A sponsor/guardian is required to present a birth certificate for all children who have NOT previously attended Fort Campbell Schools.

5.  All students entering school for the first time are required to have a physical examination and up-to-date Immunization Certificate.  Appointments for physical examinations can be made by calling Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) 798-8885.

6.  All students, new to Fort Campbell Schools, must present: 
            (1)  A letter from housing verifying quarters with dependents names listed on them
            (2)  Birth certificate
            (3) Social Security Card
            (4) Current Immunization Certificate
            (5)  School physical
            (6)  Military orders with dependents names listed on them
at the time of registration.  Students who were enrolled in Fort Campbell Schools during the last school year, whose Immunization Certificate has expired, must bring an up-to-date certificate at the time of registration.

7.  Additional documentation is required from sponsors of stepchildren:
            (1)  Letter from housing stating the child is authorized to live in the quarters
            (2) Legal documents showing that the spouse has legal primary custody of the   child (this may be a separate custody agreement or part of a divorce decree – we only need to see information relating to custody)
            (3)  If the spouse’s last name is different from the child’s birth certificate (this could occur if spouse has remarried more than once)
            (4)  In loco parentis affidavit (available at the school) executed by sponsor
8.  Additional documentation is required if the sponsor is not the parent/step-parent and registering a cousin, brother, sister, etc.):
