We extend a truly heartfelt Lincoln Elementary School Welcome! To your student and your family- both to returning families and to families that are new to our community. We invite you to be our partners in the education of your child and to actively support you child’s education. It is our belief that as long as the school and home work together, we will be able to provide a quality educational experience for every child.
The staff works hard to build a positive relationship between the school and the home. This relationship must involve two-way communication, with mutual trust and respect between both parties. Communication between parents and teachers in critical to making a working educational team. We ask that you always talk directly to your child’s teacher and express any compliments, concerns or comments you may have to them. Your child’s teacher is the most qualified to share day-to-day observations of your child’s progress.
Lincoln Elementary is a child-centered school with the very important mission of educating the military child to their maximum potential You can help to make school better, and support our LES student’s success, by becoming involved in your community school. Some wonderful ways of becoming involved in your child’s education are by volunteering in the classroom serving as a tutor for a student, joining the PTO and attending our school functions.
We constantly seek out ways to provide a pleasant, safe, meaningful and motivating educational environment for our students. If you have suggestions or recommendations, let us know. It is the collective work of the students, their parents, and the teachers that make a good school great. Together, we can make 2008-09 the best that Lincoln Elementary School has ever seen.
