School Improvement

Each certified staff member at Lincoln is part of a committee dedicated to school improvement. Recently, we developed Belief Statements. We used these belief statements as a basis for forming a School Improvement Plan.

We Believe that...

All students can become life-long learners and productive members of society.
All students should be actively engaged in learning and held accountable for their learning.
A strong home to school relationship will assist students in being accountable for their learning.
A safe and structured environment where students are able and motivated to reach their full potential is necessary.
Each child should be challenged to reacher their greatest potential through differentiated and individualized instruction.

We are currently refining and implementing the School Improvement Plan, following these steps:

Make or renew the committment
Select committee members, roles and responsibilities, and a timeline
Collect and analyze data
Develop the mission and select appropriate goals
Develop the School Improvement Plan (SIP)
Implement the SIP
Monitor the SIP and document student successes
Continue the process
