Lincoln Elementary School receives accredidaton with commendations

In April of 2009, Lincoln Elementary was visited by a Quality Assurance Review (QAR) Team. The Team examined the school thoroughly, including a review of documents, student performance data, and interviews with students, faculty members and parents. The week long visit was to ensure that the school adheres to the standards established by AdvancedEd, thus gaining official accredidation. Lincoln Elementary received full accredidation with several areas being noted as outstanding.

Summary:
The accreditation process engages the school in an ongoing journey of continuous improvement. The next steps in
this journey are to build on the strengths and address the recommendations noted in this report. Doing so will
enable the school to advance in its quest for excellence and deepen the fulfillment of its mission for all students.

Reading Counts quizzes

Lincoln now has access to all 40,000+ quizzes offered by Scholastic Reading Counts. You can search for quizzes at Scholastic's Reading Counts web site. Your child can take a comprehension test on any book in this list. Lincoln's Library does not own copies of every book. However, if you get books at the public library or the bookstore, the quiz may be available for testing at school.
