Welcome to Mahaffey Middle School. The school has a long-standing tradition of educational excellence and has been recognized nationally as a Blue Ribbon School. Additionally, the state of Kentucky has recognized the outstanding accomplishments of our students and teachers by naming MMS as a “School to Watch.”

MMS is fully accredited by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). This agency regularly reviews the instructional programs and practices at hundreds of schools throughout the region and has always reported positively on MMS.
