MEDICATIONS AT DODEA SCHOOLS:
Please do not send your child to school with medications.
Administer medications at home if possible. When medications are to be given during the school day, an Adult must bring in the following:

1. The original prescription bottle, properly labeled with the students name, the medication and the dosage. This will remain at school for the duration of the prescription. Please pick up the medication from the Nurse when you dis-enroll or before summer break.

2. A Hold Harmless Letter (doctor's order), signed by the physician and parent. Copies of these forms can be obtained from the school nurse office and the outpatient clinics at BACH.
This form and the prescription must be on file with the school nurse before administration of medications at school.

You must obtain new doctors orders and new prescriptions at the start of every school year.

Asthma: If your child requires an inhaler at home, he/she will most likely require an Inhaler at school.  Please obtain a doctors order and prescription for your school nurse.

Please DO NOT send your child to school if:
1. He/ she has had a fever in the past 24 hours.
2. He/she has had diarrhea and or vomiting in the past 24 hours.
3. He/she has been diagnosed with strep throat, pink eye, or any other contagious condition AND has not been on antibiotics or any other treatment for at least 24 hours

It is offered the 2nd Monday of each month at 1700 or the 4th Friday of each month at 1300. After you take this you can get up to 4 free meds every 2 weeks. This includes meds such as Tylenol, Motrin, RID , Dimetapp, cough drops…
