Mrs. T's Second Grade Page
November 2-6, 2009
Parent Note ~
We will be taking our Unit 2 test in reading this week. Our days to review or Monday and Tuesdy. The vocabulary test and the skills test will be given on Wednesday and the Reading on Thursday. Hopefully we will complete the test by Thursday. Attendance is very important this week and I understand if appointments have already been made.
I want to remind parents that there is no built in time for recess on our schedule, just like it was last year. The second grade team however, take it upon ourselves to take the students out if all class assignments are complete on Fridays as the weather permits or give free-time in the class room.
Students have also, related to me that they are not allowed to get on the computer for punishment. Our spelling is on Spellingcity.com. We do not give spelling homework. The student do practice thier spelling everyday in class but that may not be enough if your child is not making 100-90% on a test. Computers will ultimately become a necessity in every home.
