The school nurse is available each day of the week during regular school hours. 9:00- 9:45 and 12:10- 12:40 (Limited to emergencies only)

Medications to be taken at school must be clearly labeled and kept in the school nurse's office. This includes prescription and over-the-counter medications. Written authorization for the medication and the dosage must be on file. A medical consent form must be completed and signed by the parent and/or guardian before medication can be administered. Prescription medications require the doctor's signature also. Students come to the nurse's office at the proper time to receive medication.

Disaster drills (tornado/fire and other emergencies) are conducted periodically to ensure knowledge of proper procedures and an orderly exit from the building (in case of fire)

Students are to evacuate the building by designated routes. |
| Teachers close windows and doors, turn off lights, and take copy of roster with them. |
| Students and teacher go to designated areas away from the building. |
| Teacher takes roll to account for the safety of all students. |
| Students and teacher re-enter the building after the all-clear signal is emitted. |
